BSAI Software Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through the BetSuggest AI platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address, hashed password, display name, account preferences and subscription tier.
• Telegram link metadata: Telegram user ID, username and chat ID — used only to deliver alerts you have subscribed to.
• Billing data: subscription status, plan, renewal dates and a payment processor reference. Card numbers are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider and never touch our servers.
• Usage data: log entries (timestamp, route, IP address, user agent) for security, debugging and abuse prevention.
• Communications: support emails and any feedback you send us.

2. How we use your data

• To create and operate your account (contract).
• To deliver hybrid sports intelligence content, alerts, and Telegram messages you have requested (contract).
• To process payments and renewals (contract).
• To send essential service emails — billing receipts, security alerts, material changes to terms (legitimate interest).
• To send marketing or product update emails only where you have opted in; you may opt out at any time (consent).
• To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations (legitimate interest / legal obligation).

3. Processors we rely on

We use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers to run the service. These act as processors under our instructions and are bound by appropriate data-protection terms:

• Hosting, database, authentication and file storage (EU/UK regions where available).
• Email delivery (transactional emails and alerts).
• Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
• Telegram (for users who connect their Telegram account to receive alerts).

4. International transfers

Some processors are located outside the UK. Where this happens, transfers are protected by UK adequacy decisions or by Standard Contractual Clauses supplemented by appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active and for up to 6 years after closure to meet UK tax and accounting obligations. Logs are retained for up to 90 days. Telegram link metadata is deleted when you disconnect Telegram or close your account.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise any right, email contact@betsuggest.ai. We will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

We use a minimal set of strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, you will be asked to consent first.

8. Security

We protect your data with TLS in transit, encryption at rest, row-level access controls in the database, hashed passwords, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the ICO as required by law.

9. Children

The service is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
